Certificate in Islamic Finance — 3-Month Live Virtual Programme (Sharia Labs)
About this opportunity
Sharia Labs' Certificate in Islamic Finance is a three-month intensive live virtual programme equipping participants with practical knowledge and applied skills in Islamic finance — from core Sharia principles through to fintech innovation. The curriculum runs across six modules: (I) Foundations of Islamic Finance; (II) Practical Islamic Contracts; (III) Islamic Capital Markets and Takaful; (IV) Islamic Banking and Investment; (V) Shariah Governance Framework; and (VI) Advanced Practical Applications and Innovation. Delivery is by interactive live lecture in short, practical micro-learning sessions of 40–60 minutes, twice weekly, with 24+ live sessions in total led by 5 expert instructors. Learning is reinforced through case studies drawing on both Nigerian and international markets, supplementary readings including AAOIFI standards, Usmani texts and contemporary research, live Q&A sessions with instructors, and practical exercises covering product structuring, risk assessment and advisory scenarios. Participants leave with applied knowledge of Sharia-compliant finance, contracts and structures, the ability to structure Islamic financial products for real businesses, and a Certificate of Completion issued by Sharia Labs upon successful completion of all modules and activities.
