Tsinghua University Graduate Admissions 2027 — International Students
About this opportunity
Tsinghua University — one of China's most selective institutions — accepts graduate applications from international students for the 2027 intake. Applicants must complete an online application during the designated THU application period, upload all required documents to the application system, and pay the application fee online at the time of submission. The application period generally runs from September to February of the following year, but the deadline and application batches vary among different departments and schools, so applicants must consult the 'Remarks of Application' in the Catalog of Graduate Programs 2027 for their specific deadline and application arrangements. Applicants can pursue a Master's degree, a Doctoral degree, joint graduate programs, or short-term research and study. Thirty-nine schools and departments can accept Bachelor's degree holders to pursue their doctoral degrees directly, bypassing the need for a prior Master's. Funding is available through the Chinese Government Scholarship and Tsinghua's own financial aid and scholarship schemes, which are applied for separately and require corresponding HSK (Chinese proficiency) score reports where applicable.
