Yale Young Global Scholars (YYGS) has officially opened its application for Summer 2027, inviting high school students from around the world to reside on Yale's campus while attending two-week academic tracks throughout June and July 2027. Key Details: - Students representing 150+ countries, 50+ U.S. states/territories - 14,000+ applications for ~2,000 spots (2026) - $3 million USD in need-based financial aid and scholarships - Reside on Yale campus (Benjamin Franklin & Pauli Murray residential colleges) - Attend Yale faculty lectures, small-scale seminars with undergraduate/graduate instructors - Near-peer mentoring from Yale students - Access to Yale labs, museums, libraries - Weekend events and residential activities Application Deadlines: - Early Action: October 15, 2026 at 11:59PM ET (discounted fee) - Regular Decision: January 6, 2027 at 11:59PM ET Fee waiver available to reduce application fee to $0.
