2027 Internship Programme — Session 1 (African Development Bank)
About this opportunity
The African Development Bank's 2027 Internship Programme Session 1 is part of a wider Talent Management Framework that helps the Bank deliver on its Ten-Year Strategy (2023–2032). Its four cardinal points — unlocking capital at scale, reforming Africa's financial architecture, harnessing the demographic boom to drive economic growth, and building climate-resilient infrastructure and value addition — guide selection. The programme's broad objectives are to give students professional and practical experience at the Bank, and to give the Bank a pool of potential candidates for future recruitment. Applicants should not expect the internship to lead to immediate employment. Selected interns are deployed across various departments at headquarters in Abidjan as well as the Bank's Regional and Country Offices, and may work remotely or on-site depending on the needs of the hiring unit. Session 1 commences in January 2027.
