The Mastercard Foundation Associates Program is an active, ongoing initiative that connects talented young people with 12-month paid work placements across Africa. The program operates through partnerships with external organizations and Mastercard Foundation partner organizations, supporting Associates in developing leadership capabilities, employability skills, and entrepreneurship capacity following graduation. Program focus areas include Disability Inclusion, Education and Transitions (facilitating young people's pathways from education to dignified work and entrepreneurship), and support for Refugees and Displaced Persons. The program is designed as a bridge from education to meaningful professional engagement across the continent. Employers and partner organizations are invited to learn more about hosting Associates and contributing to a stronger, more inclusive workforce.
