Mo Ibrahim Foundation Leadership Fellowships — 2027 (Open for Applications)
About this opportunity
The Mo Ibrahim Foundation established the Ibrahim Leadership Fellowships in 2011 to identify and mentor the future generation of outstanding African leaders. Each year, three Fellows work in the executive offices of the African Development Bank (AfDB — Abidjan), the Economic Commission for Africa (ECA — Addis Ababa), or the International Trade Centre (ITC — Geneva). The 12-month programme provides a $100,000 stipend. Fellows gain both technical and leadership skills while contributing directly to research and policy design. A unique feature: direct mentorship from the heads of the host organisations. Fellows also join the Now Generation Network (NGN) to continue contributing to Africa's growth. The 2027 application process is now open. Visit the host organisation websites (AfDB, ECA, ITC) for full details and to apply.
